    One of my friends from high school was a ze for a while, while actively transitioning, and sort of going in and out of fem/ masc presentations, and dressing. Once she got her breasts done she was just a she though.

    They were very unbiased by pronouns and even dead- naming though. Like if you asked, they’d say they were a ze, but really didnt care if anyone still called them he or even she, and werent going to correct someone even if they used the old masculine name. There was also an aspect of the original name being pretty unique, whereas the new one was a more generic one, so it was often a matter of

    “oh, you know sarah…” “Sarah?” “you know, used to be Gerrard…” “oh, that Sarah! Oh course I know her!”
