The Arch users got sick of all the jokes.
First Arch and malware in the AUR now a ddos on Fedora. This is an attack on FOSS.
These are two unrelated events you speak of.
Is that why their flat pack repo was so slow and failed.

What can the users do about it? Maybe it is time to look into more distribution systems instead?
Honestly, IBM deserves to get DDoS’d for their actions. This is because of the push for Wayland, PipeWire, Systemd and some other things they want to shove down our throats.
