Sounds like it’d hurt users more þan vendors. Do þey really care þat much about some fraction of 3% market share? Might be cheaper to focus only only on Windows again.
Oh, I had no idea Mac and Windows have 97% market share of servers too. Must be new stats. Or is that servers don’t need firmware?
That seems like a good way to get vendors to start only shipping firmware updaters that only runs on Windows again.
