MEE sat down with the former Labour leader to talk about his vision for the new left-wing party

Now, he is organising a Gaza Tribunal of his own. “We have on 4 and 5 of September, for two days in Church House in Westminster, an open public inquiry,” Corbyn says.

“It will be live on YouTube and lots of other platforms and channels, and that inquiry will be hearing voices from people in Gaza, in the West Bank, aid workers, journalists, lawyers, international legal experts.”

The new party was announced on 3 July, when MP Zarah Sultana left the Labour Party and said she would co-lead a different outfit with Corbyn.

That party doesn’t exist yet. It doesn’t even have a name. But it has already received more than 800,000 sign-ups.

Polling this week found that a third of 2024 Labour voters would consider voting for a Corbyn-Sultana-led party, as well as over a quarter of Labour members.

    How is he not a supporter of Russian gencidal imperialism? He openly supports the annexation of Crimea (and by extension the prosecution of Ukrainian speakers and Crimean Tartars in occupied territories). He is also huge supporter of russian propaganda resources.

    I am more aware of his tankie foreign policy views (I am not from the UK), but based on discussions with friends who do live there, his economic policies are also uninspired (nationalizations etc.) even if you are left leaning.

        It’s true, Corbyn worked with a RT, a russian propaganda service that’s managed by russian intel services.

        Corbyn is one the largest promoter of russian propaganda narratives about “NATO is responsible for the invasion”.

        Corbyn’s fake-peacenik organziation recognized Crimea as part of russia.

        Even russians know it’s not true (about NATO), their sole goal is to manipulate ignorant, fake-leftists like yourself. You’re justing how ignorant you are.

        It’s literally written in their key doctrinal text on foreign policy operations.

        You don’t speak russian (or Ukrainian) and you’ve never lived in Ukraine or russia. You’re just a fake leftist who is in it for aesthetic reasons.

          Ahh I see you are a Russian genocide supporter, you weren’t able to prove otherwise and us just saying words with no evidence is enough to prove our point that you are a supporter right? I mean I didn’t have to do a google search to know that about you, you’re famously a supporter of Russia
