Absolutely wild to spend your time screaming “both parties are the same” while one of them is actively dismantling literally everything that supports the country

      💯

If Newsom is running for 2028, I’m absolutely voting against him in the Primary. And if he wins, I’m absolutely voting for him over these totalitarian, anti-American, fascists.

Absolutely wild to spend your time screaming “both parties are the same”

      https://www.slotkin.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Slotkin-CAP-Remarks-As-Prepared.pdf

Genuinely can’t tell what party Slotkin is a member of after reading her latest campaign remarks.

She could be a NeverTrump Liz Cheney type or a Cuomo Democrat or a Third Way Andrew Yang independent. It’s all just neoliberal mush.

So let me slaughter another sacred cow: We need to move past the talking point of “comprehensive” immigration reform. For the past 20 years, politicians in both parties have abandoned immigration deals—either because they were good but not perfect, or because they preferred to use the immigration issue as political ammo. We need big, bold change to fix a broken system —but at this point, that can be in one bill, or spread across five. I will work with any adults I can find who are actually interested in making some kind of progress on immigration.

What do you do with “both sides” rhetoric when it’s coming from inside the party system? This is their words as often as ours. Even the D’s and R’s can’t decide if they’re bipartisan buddies or purity trolls.
