    I mean, it’s prevalent enough that I’m no longer surprised. Rural America, saw an RFK sign nearby leading up to the election, and neighbor is an anti-vaxxer. I also had a weird comment from a coworker when getting my flu shots at work asking if I was “nervous” about it, and I replied, just confused, “No…”.

    In short, it’s just sort of been a slow realization that the country is full of people you’d never expect whose brains have slowly been warped by social media and conspiracy theory. Losing shared monoculture to keep us calibrated to reality means everyone slowly is developing their own mental disfigurements.

    So yes, there are people out there who think it’s great.
