Justice Department leadership is prepared to use its rule-making authority to declare transgender people as mentally ill and deprive them of their Second Amendment right to possess firearms, according to two Justice officials who shared internal discussions with CNN.

Deliberations at the highest levels of the DOJ follow the recent mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, an attack police say was carried out by a 23-year-old former student at the church’s school who may have been a transgender person or a de-transitioned individual. Two children were killed in the attack, and 21 others were injured.

And now we get to the fascists beginning to disarm their enemies phase. After that it won’t be long before they label registered Democrats as mentally defective.

sigh All of this is a distraction scheme. He’s distracting from how poorly the people are doing economically.

We can’t trump control the narrative like that. We have to shift the narrative back to the economy every time something like this comes up.

“Trump promised we’d have well-paying jobs again. Where are they?”

Taking their guns is only the first step against transfolk. Once they’re declared mentally unwell they’ll start locking them up and forcing treatment on them.

As supported by the previous executive order that authorizes institutionalization of homeless and mentally ill people.

I am so disgusted by this wretched administration.

    JEFFERY EPSTEIN

RELEASE THE FILES SO WE CAN GET ON WITH THE PUBLIC EXECUTIONS

Every politician that is not pushing for the release is most likely complicit in this global child sex trafficking ring.

If at least half of the republican supporters are not mentally defective, I don’t know who is…

I saw the headline a day or two ago about how they wanted to remove their guns, and my first thought was they’re going to declare them mentally ill.

    Sigh

I really thought they were going to side with the administration like they did when it was California trying to defang the Black Panthers.

But, I only like Asian women who’s moms are from Brazil but from Filipino parents and dads must be American but can only come from Tokyo. Crying. Do you know? D’you? Anyone like that? And they must not like anime. I’m a big muscular guy Sir, and I can’t handle anime. Also filthy rich. They must be filthy rich, but very clean. Crying. Mr president do you? Surely Epstein. Surely he knew someone like that? Crying, need hug. Plz!

LOL. If not, could I just get a sex change? Again, big guy. And crying. Totally not mentally deviant.

Haven’t heard of that. But another option is the SRA (socialist rifle association). Its a nationwide version of the NRA for socialist/leftists. They are not activist but strictly an organization for learning firearm safety and use. Highly recommend from my experience with my local SRA.

Our membership has exploded since the election. And obviously a lot of our members are from the queer community.

This is probably just another distraction. I don’t think the executive brach has the power to declare someone mentally ill for the purposes of existing gun legislation. They would need a new law through congress, and they won’t get enough votes for that.

Legislation? That’s so old school. The really important stuff, like repealing Constitutional Amendments, is all done by Executive Orders these days.

The right has never supported gun ownership for groups they consider outside “American identity” just look at Reagan’s actions while governor.

The right is about to learn the very important lesson that support of gun control does not necessarily imply a lack of gun ownership.
