The problem is that we’re running out of time and are facing an adversary who doesn’t listen to rational arguments. We can’t wait for all sorts of research to prove that obvious fascist scum is indeed fascist scum, because by then, they’ll already have taken power.
I’m of the opinion that we can do both, counter the threat that this modern breed of fascism poses to freedom and democracy while at the same time building a firm basis of factual information that this threat is indeed real and taking place right now. Both aren’t mutually exclusive. While the general population of Russia or the United States is not susceptible to factual information at this point, there are still significant chunks of the European population that are.
They have, and that is what all this mucking about is…about. They rule us, this is all theater as they roll out increasingly cruel laws against humanity, until we are functionally extinct, and the rest are just forever tormented zoo animals, with no upsides to their lives.
