I mean, technically migrants are people who choose to leave their home country for a new one. Refugees are forced to flee and seek asylum in a new country. Not that I’d expect anyone supporting this administration to understand that nuance. It’s not like these people are fleeing from an actual danger anyway.

Political positions are like chemicals: you mix the reactive elements with opposing parts to neutralize them and mixing all elements together gets you a inert whole thing. Isolated uniform pockets will cause huge reactions, if not mixed gently and carefully.
The US is already polarized (two-party), so this doesn’t work there anymore.
