It’s weird to describe what has always an ideological mess - and I’m talking about the state of conservatives and the Republican Party long, long, long before Taco was even a glimmer in their eye - as a “collapse”.
Remove “Republicans” and just stick with conservatives. It’s just more honest when assessing these child rapists.
Maybe a “subsidence” - it’s not so much that it collapsed as that it settled to its natural level.
These fuckers are both sidesing even this. The Atlantic is part and parcel of this moral rot.
