This is stupid, but honestly I don’t know know that I’m that upset. I’m an Eagle Scout, and one issue I have with it is that it’s designed as a pipeline to the military partially. If the military pulls funding then they have no incentive for this. It’s stupid for them to cut funding for this at a time when military sign-ups are below what they need, but I don’t know that it’s a bad thing long-term for scouting.

Yeah. That’s one reason my parents would not let me join up even with Cub Scouts. They definitely did not want their kids in the military.
