As with most of the claims from this conflict, take this with a grain of salt until we know more even though this is coming from Reuters.
From the very first line:
“Israeli troops raided the compound of Gaza’s Al Shifa Hospital early on Monday, saying they killed over 20 gunmen…”
The notion that they were gunmen is being self reported by the Israeli military making the attack on the hospital.
Of course they’re going to SAY that. Is it true? Wait a few days to see what the actual results are.
There the establishment media goes again, quoting the IDF version of the events in the headline even though they’ve been known to be about as trustworthy a source as The Daily Mail.
“20 gunmen” might as well be “100 men, women and children not wearing IDF uniforms” as far as we know.
I’d say it’s worse then that. The IDF said they killed 20 “terrorists”. In IDF speak, all Palestinians are terrorists. The IDF didn’t specify if these alleged “terrorists” were actively shooting at them. Rueters used the term “gunmen” suggesting armed and active combatants. The IDF simply didn’t say that.
