A new report claims that the South Korean giant has decided to drop out of the fierce smartphone segment, with an announcement planned for next week. LG's phone division has consistently lost money.

Still use and like my two LG devices, will be sad to see high-end audio and SD cards be even further reduced in mobile choices.

If Linux mobile devices software does well this year perhaps it’ll be an OK time to make a switch, though I’ll find something else to fill the audio niche.

Why not pick a $100 audio player like Hiby? Can drive bigger headphones if you are into that, and works over WiFi and BT as well. https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/a/align_centre/20210126/20210126203447.png

But if you use low powered Chi-Fi IEMs, an Android phone with Hiby Player app will work just as well.
