Recently I had a server failure… I was in the middle of Sg-1.
So went to prime video to watch it…
It was 4:3 dark and the audio was horrible… Oh and ads. It has ads.
Gross :/

Haha it’s just nice I’ve been here long enough to where I’m recognizing the same memes / images being posted.
This is the first repost on Lemmy I’ve seen! :)!
I’m going to give a shout out to Ironicbadger over at https://perfectmediaserver.com/
One of his most recent builds was on promox
I’ve been running his 2017 version of Debian with docker-compose - zfs and mergerfs. And it’s been rock solid for ages and ages.
I had to print something yesterday… I submitted it to staples and went and picked it up.
Cost me $2
I expect that 10 pages will be all I’ll have to print in 2024.
In the last 5 years I’ve spent less than $10 on printing.
If I had to actually print items… I’d get a inexpensive brother laser printer
I’m sure beats have a pink headphone… They are of the highest quality. /s!!!
Tho… Is she an audiophile? Probably not if she’s Bluetoothing. Beats might be an option. As shitty as that option might be.
Edit: Apparently they have gotten better… https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/uofqp4/whats_so_bad_about_beats_headphones/
Yeah I use overseerr on mine.
I’ve got the full stack of arr’s with overseerr for requests from the outside users. And I’m on Usenet with several different indexers.

They are all about low cost high performance builds.
Quicksync from Intel with an igpu is a god send . I’m running an i3 in my Plex server and it’s a hoss.
Good luck op
This is absolutely the way. My wife needed windows for school recently… Ltsc was the only way to go.
I use windows 11 for work and it’s absolutely horrible… took them a year to let us ungroup windows on the task bar. Win11 literally didn’t ship with that ability.
Honestly… We spend $35 or so if we order from them… so idk that it’s saving us anything.
Thanks!
I have not. I was a shucks.top guy for a long time and don’t currently neeeeed the extra space.
That being said I’ve seen enough different users linking both the Amazon drives and the serverpartdeals recerts and pulls https://serverpartdeals.com/collections/high-capacity-drives
That I won’t hesitate to look at them next time I need drives.
And of course as the other user said… bad blocks.
I don’t have any input on your download direction… But I wanted to share some drive links.
Folks on datahoarder love these drives… Dell Exos X18 18TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200RPM 3.5-inch Enterprise HDD - ST18000NM002J (Renewed) https://a.co/d/9LeBkx7
And recertified drives / server pulls on https://serverpartdeals.com/collections/manufacturer-recertified-drives
Might be a cheaper couple of options for expansion.
Huh I wondered. That makes a lot of sense.
The version I have looks and sounds so much better than the blurays I have… Tho like you said better audio, widescreen and I’m fairly certain it’s been ai upscaled as well. I’d have to go back and look but my physical disks don’t hold a candle…
That’s super tempting honestly. Idk that it benefits is at this point.
Such a great universe! :)
Man… Im watching Stargate sg1 with my kiddo. My Plex server is down for a bit… so I switched over to prime for an episode or two…
It’s dark, it’s audio is horrible, it’s 4:3 formatted it’s horribly compressed and it has commercials.
Talk about a poor viewing experience.
Not watching is better than watching…
100% the way to play video games these days.
Been sporting the 2017 version for ages. Snapraid / mergerfs and a bunch of drives
Docker compose on top of that with most of the arr’s and overseerr.
Good times.
This is the way
