I love that it feels clear that Steam employees love their jobs.

politics @lemmy.world•Republican midterms 'coup' exposed as party quietly pushes to flip key Democrat
55·18 days agoFlip Fetteman? They can have him. Garbage politician that only won his seat because he was against Dr.Oz.
That’s means your dad had that DICK too. Your mother loves that energy for a reason
This got a good chuckle out of me. I remember I hit that button when he interviewed some scientist for the third time asking if the moon landing was fake.
I’m still shocked he kept gaining popularity. He’s such an idiot.
True. We all know the Hippocratic oath. Do no harm (unless it inconveniences a flight of passengers).
I remember an attendant once said "And to those who said they’d ‘never fly with us again’: Welcome back! " 😂😂😂

Technology@lemmy.world•Taylor Swift files to trademark her voice and likeness in era of AI deepfakesEnglish
3·25 days agoThey’re doing worst than slop songs. From images I’ve seen, she’s DEEP into Kansas City Chief fans. 😂 🤣 😂
Her reaction makes sense. Best I can hope for is some trickle down civil rights.
Yeah… Speaking of, even Woody Allen’s wife is in the Epstein files bashing girls. And Woody Allen met his wife when she was literally the adopted child of his girlfriend.
A large part of that network are victims that accepted their abuser and made more victims. A “I got mine” approach.
Best I can do is: the Leftist want to regulate things like AI. But the Liberal, who thinks of profit first rather than lives, is going to stop them.
Honestly it’s a very funny stance to have on Not-Reddit.
Victim making victims.
I think about this bedroom clip every once in a while. Look at those eyes when she mentions the bed.

11·1 month agoI’d love to play AAA games- Crimson Desert and Spider-Man 2 are on my wishlist. But now that they’ve been optimized for frame generation, my 3070 can’t play them to my standard.
If I’m going to stare at a pixelated mess, I’d rather it be curated by an indie artist than technical difficulties from DLSS compression

World News@lemmy.world•US president says he's considering pulling U.S. out of 'paper tiger' NATOEnglish
2·2 months agoIf it’s a “paper tiger”, why have we fought so hard to keep Ukraine from obtaining membership? 🤔
I feel like it’s made to keep it relevant for newer kids. Kinda like Disney and doing live action remakes but worse.
I think it looks… fine. (It’s missing color- the magic of cinema.) While I don’t want it to succeed in my heart, I know waaaaay too many millennial parents that will be force feeding this to children.

Steam@lemmy.ml•72% of devs believe Steam has a monopoly on PC games, according to study
122·7 months agoIn this one case, I’m okay with its monopoly as long as Gabe is in charge. I have bought tens of thousands of dollars in games on the platform and it’s crazy I can still hit download on games over 20 years old in my library AND have my save game data imported from that time.
So far, Valve has been fair to their users. Hell, they heard concerns over gambling and just took a sledgehammer to the CS2 skin market. I don’t think any other company would devalue their digital assets to a tune of -3 BILLION dollars. Valve is the GOAT.

I’d press it at least 500 times. Maybe more, you need to make sure it works and one random death isn’t going to make the news. So gotta put in work and press it as many times in one instance. And, I get paid at the end?
