Yeah, developers can’t access those folders without some super specific permissions, so most just use the dedicated app folder.

App developer here. Our company went through this exact thing, to a T.
After a lot of back & forth with Support we implemented another feature which requires full file system access and they suddenly accepted it. Such a bullshit way to do it, but hey, it worked.

I meant the debugger button, not the settings button. In the issue it showed up as an bug with a line going through it, as if saying “no insects allowed”.
Love the fact that this spawned new issues complaining about the debugger icon promoting violence against insects.
