There’s a lot of people in the center that feel alienated by all the vocal lunatics on the far ends of both sides.

Not that multi-party democracy is a fix on its own, but coalition governments can sometimes do a better job representing people than “round up to L or R or GTFO”

It’s Forbes - if they don’t use an image in the thumbnail of a thing people know, they might as well not use anything. It’s normie-facing.

It might also be that out of 97 million daily active users, if 1/10th of 1% are attention-seeking crazies, that’s 97,000 people over-sharing at absurd levels.

But it has to be something from the inside by a Russian, and he’s not naive to that fact.

It’s been happening for a few months, my theory was that in the runup to the election it was their only idea for CYA about bots, and it just so happens to mean they’re using facial recognition scanning to catalog the real humans on their platform.
