Pretty much any fruit flavoured food that is not artificial will contain sugar from the fruit juice. But most companies add sugar anyway.

I am semi-literate in “computers”. That means I can build my own PC, do no coding, but manage to troubleshoot most things by sheer stubborness, search and the odd question on a “forum” In other words not afraid of tech.
I can’t be bothered to sift through endless overengineered BS for a PC to do the few things I need it to do these days. Web browser, Steam and streaming, while not scraping every ounce of personal data and sending it to various entities for nefarious purposes. I have Mint, it works out of the box and I don’t have to tinker with it, but enough customizability if I want to.
I stopped using Opera the second it wasn’t Norwegian. I use Librewolf on desktop, Waterfox on mobile and Vivaldi as the “clean” browser when something k. Waterfox/Librewolf fucks up an important webpage I have to use
The bad hunter who misses all the shots and buys the fowl in the market
It’s more nuanced than that. Wages are comparable high, and there are some tax regulations that makes owning less expensive. Renting is still not the norm in Norway. Second+++ apartments/houses are severely taxed in a recent new regulation (incidentally making renting more expensive as they were sold off)
Outside some “metropolitan” areas like Oslo you can find lex expensive homes. But you are correct that prices have started to be our of reach of many, and stability is key for starting a family.
And Norway is by no means a paradise, but it seems more agreeable than the US.
Tbf. Norway has a fertility rate of 1,4 I think. And that is in a country with (compared to many other places) quite generous benefits like a year paid maternity/paternity leave. Relative cheap and abundant kindergartens and a less horrible work situation. Think everyone are feeling the zeitgeist

Think modern missiles are so accurate that they can recognize silhouettes and hit the bridge dead on so it’s better to be fast and “invisible” than though. When this is in your armament you really don’t need to be close I guess. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Strike_Missile
And from the look of it it have some radar invisibility https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HNoMS_Helge_Ingstad_(F313)
They slammed a frigate into an oil tanker in Norway. Oil tanker was being tugged and cant really manouver in a meaningful way, but the warship somehow didn’t see it in the dark. Turns out modern frigates are more floating radar/weapon platforms and very very brittle
How could it have been worse. A fucking basic appliance was hijacked. Ofc its not weaponized, that would have made it worse I guess
Pass it forward is a good English phrase we don’t have in my language
Tbf. Not that many predators left in northern Sweden/Norway/Finland. And believe me that the Sami reindeer owners work their hardest to illegally hunt the remaining down.
No mobile platform is secure. Even EncroChat was broken.
Ofc they have the power to do so. John Deere did just that with stolen machines (incidentally underlining that you actually rent their machines) My point is that you buy the iphone hardware, and the use is not a service. And the possibility of bricking it at Apples, Samsung or Huawei whim is for me dystopian. Access to software, storefronts and internet pages is slightly different in my opinion.
While I understand your idea, thats a level of censorship in the hands of a private company that is so cyber punk dystopian that it makes William Gibson cry.
Imagine your phone will start playing the Chinese anthem before it sends your dickpicks to your mother
Any tips for a newbee where to start looking for learning to root a TV?
I only use Telegram for my Warhammer 40k group…Authorities seizing that will get them years of mindless chatter about the Emperor, memes and battle reports. Fuck they will pay us to leave Telegram
Just to clarify, I am at the point where I have hand painted for years :) The next step is continue to improve brush control, and perhaps airbrush
Think it’s the trap that if you continue with the hobby, all the starter gear is useless and all the money could have been spent on better equipment.
I paint miniatures. Not as often it as much as I would like to because of dividing my time between work, two year old and chores, but I have had the hobby for the last six years. I have yet to purchase an airbrush, and I can get a perfectly decent starter set for lets say 20 USD. But I can also get a better set with high end compressor, better paint gun.for 60 USD. I know that if I keep getting better at using the airbrush I will eventually get the high end stuff, why not “save” money and get it right away.
I will now cut back on all social media. Lemmy included as I get a depression from what’s happening in the US. What is painfully obvious is that we Europeans must stop fucking around and federate so that we have a fucking chance wedged in between despots and idiots.
