Organize. Fascist groups, (and more simply bullies) thrive on evoking individual response, singling them out, and playing the system against them. This doesn’t even touch on physical response. Encourage documentation, strength in numbers, and systemic isolation of attempting fascist elements.

Encouraging isolated, vulnerable at risk folks to pick fights with members of a fascist “in group” is not going to work. Even if they get out of the encounter unscathed, the system will chew them up. It is not the right way to resist, especially when it’s a child.

If you do, you’re admitting to being ok with a gamble, and that “your brand” wins out, that the power vacuum is filled in an orderly manner, and that a greater level of peace and “quality” of society arrives after the dust settles.
