The water thing is a myth. Any body of water you can actively watch drain is influenced by the shape of the reservoir and direction the water is added to it.
Last time I did a midnight dennys trip it took an hour to get our food because the cook didn’t show up and the wait staff were trying to cook the food.

Seems to me that conservative policy is the status quo. Almost by definition, ‘conserving’ the way things are, or what they believe it is. As a general trend, the us has leaned much more conservative. This is the status quo.
Changing, progressive policy is literally antithetical to the status quo. A woman in office is not the current state. So why do people say that the dem candidate is the status quo if that makes no sense?

Agreed with preferring to walk on grass than the road, but the grass here is thick, uneven, and patchy. Very easy to trip or get stuck going through a section that hasn’t been mowed in months.
If they had instead just made a sidewalk, things would be much easier. Especially in the areas that have sidewalk ramps that lead to nothing but grass. Laziness.
Looking around the infrastructure of Texas, it’s gonna be a whole lot longer than 10 years if they decide to make anything sidewalk safe.
Better get used to walking on grass if you choose to walk somewhere here.
The thing is that there are different target groups here that seem to disconnect. The gamers and tech dudes who want/have all the latest hardware and want to play every game maxed out aren’t the people affected, yet somehow they’re the ones who chime in for these discussions.

It does make sense from a payment processing standpoint. It doesn’t make sense to spend more money on creating the transaction than is actually being sent.
To be fair I had to look it up too. Seems the Coriolis effect COULD impact a perfectly still container of water that was opened suddenly, but other forces are going to be significantly more impactful on a small body of water.
