I don’t understand if these are the charges, why they haven’t arrested Zuckerberg for the same. The reason is that Pavel won’t install backdoors into his app.

It’s because the USA floods countries with cheap goods all the time and then cries foul when someone else does it. It’s pure hypocrisy.
Have to disagree. The games and the trailer are very far apart.
The trailer looked like a wannabe Guardians of the Galaxy clone.
Less war hawks, neoliberals, reactionary american exceptionalism from tech workers who have no idea what they’re talking about except that they have money and think that gives them the privilege of opinion.
Honor of Kings is pretty good. Just ignore all the contests. You always start at the same ability as everyone else.
At some point decades from now maybe? I still think nuclear and fusion research are important for human civilization, I just think it’s stupid to waste money on building power plants using nuclear technology in its current state.
Ammonia believe it or not.
The reason we don’t build nuclear power plants anymore (including small modular), is because they’re insanely expensive, produce only a small amount of power compared to you can produce with renewables, and always come with cost overruns. Nuclear power is the techsploitation of of tbe 60’s and 70’s. Most governments look at the economics now and realize they can do solar plus storage for a fraction of the immediate and long term cost.

Would have been amazing if they federated with Forgejo and supported federated git like they’re doing with mastodon.
Why would that be progress?
There are two types of hydrogen cars: Fuel Cell EVs and ICE built to run with hydrogen fuel. Both of them are the future of fuel. You won’t see a network of EV charging stations in most south american, african, or Asian countries. The EV revolution is very urban focused. Hydrogen as a fuel that can be transported almost as easily as gasoline is the pragmatic future. EVs are popular because Elon Musk went viral.
Edit: totally aware it’s not successful at the moment: https://www.motor1.com/news/693449/toyota-hydrogen-mirai-not-successful/
I’m using it and it’s pretty good. It’s arguably too feature rich though. I mean that in every right click you have like 20 options. It’s overwhelming.
Also I use the cloud sync and every few days something doesn’t sync properly when you’re typing and it asks you to re-sync. And so you have to wait a minute while it re-builds the entire index. It doesn’t happen often but when it does it’s annoying.
You should check out Affine.pro then. It’s FOSS and you can draw anywhere, it’s one of their selling points.
Siyuan is probably the most advanced note taking app out there right now. Affine.pro is also a good one Appflowy is also good. All are FOSS.
I’ll give you an example; my country has food insecurity, rich people take arable farmland and build suburbs on that land instead of infilling the city downtown which has single detached homes less than a kilometre from the centre of the city. Do you think that this is a good thing they’re buying this farmland for suburbs, or a bad thing?
You’re moving the goal posts here. Did you buy the land for the purpose of building property? Bad. Did you convert arable land into housing? Bad. Was it a rocky bad piece of land that you invested in to build something more out of it? Good. Housing policy isn’t binary but in most cases the current personal private multiownership model doesn’t help anyone. My perspective is no one should be allowed to own more than one house, and if so anything beyond the first house should be heavily taxed.
Why are the libs so hung up on criticizing socialists? If you don’t like this forum then go back to reddit.
Set up a trust to invest the money, from the compounding returns, use a sustainable portion of the dividends to fund a cause you believe will help change the world. Be very explicit to the trust managers as to the long term instructions of the trust.
With compound market returns the million dollars could be worth $40 million in 50 years and would be distributing af a sustainable 3% dividend, 1.2 million a year to a cause you believe in.
