The range of motion of the steering wheel is a bit over 180 degrees, with steering angle change ramping up the further you turn the wheel.
It’s genuinely fascinating technology actually, somewhat wasted on a vehicle as silly as the Cybertruck.

It’s kinda weird. They want the Cybertruck to be the problem so badly, and it just isn’t. And yet, they just keep arguing with everyone.
And insulting anyone who tries to explain it to them.

Cybertruck steering doesn’t work like other vehicles, it’s a steer by wire system, which is how the driver can go from lock to lock like that.
I don’t know why you’re getting so hung up on this.

Didn’t say they weren’t.

You’re bizarrely upset by someone saying something you disagree with.
And they have rear wheel steering, which is why the rear wheels turn like that.

Note that the van was on hard packed sand that is below the high tide line, and the Cybertruck is on the soft stuff.
This is mostly a reflection on the bozo driving the Cybertruck rather than the vehicle itself.

I’ve read the short story that was based on, incredibly creepy story.

It really is middle school energy, that’s just embarrassing.

I don’t care enough to click through a bunch of bullshit to read the story.
This would solve an incredible number of problems if it actually happened.
That’s actually fair, they don’t want people trashing their equipment.

Whatever the cause of the initial blast was, Russia definitely scuttled the ship rather than have anyone else know what it was carrying.

I think a limpet mine is a far more likely explanation, why risk such a heavily classified piece of technology falling into enemy hands?

I hadn’t heard about this until now.
This will be my default to leave running on the TV for a while.
That is an absolutely incredible mental image.

This is why refusing to pay money to the BBC is an honourable course of action. Stick your TV licence.

A very tragic story, but unfortunately the only way to remove someone from office, as a family member cannot submit a resignation on their behalf.
Didn’t read the article, did you?
