Are you saying it was literal and that Dell/HP/Lenovo are raising their prices immediately from the data Google obtained by you searching for a computer repair? I was under the impression it was just an example of how info can be exploited like the person you replied to. It seems like it would lose more sales than gain if that were real, as all vendors and resellers would have to raise across the board. Like Amazon couldn’t all the sudden be cheaper than you, or they’d take your sale from the manufacturers website

There are also regulations where I lived that you can’t have a pool built now without having a barricade of some sort to prevent kids from falling in. But no regulations that you have to have a gun behind a barricade around kids. (You could be grandfathered into not having the netting if you had it built prior to the legislation)

Alright, I’m off to search what nutrients shrimp tails have now.

Couldn’t find much. Most everything I found is that they are mostly chitin and they have fiber, omega 3’s, and no real break downs of nutritional facts. Lots of recommendations to just fry them, and one that said to save the tails/exoskeletons and put them in the freezer to turn into a stock. Lots of “just fry the whole thing”. I rarely eat shrimp, but maybe I’ll try the stock and then drain, season/cornstarch and fry the tails at some point to see if they can be made to taste like spicy shrimp chips?

Most phones shipped with USB a to USB c, that is not supported by many new devices. You need a USB c to USB C. If I pay over $800 dollars for something, I really shouldn’t be wondering if I can properly get it to charge.

Also, at what speed is it going to charge? If it charges slower with your old charger that you got from your last phone… Then you should supply the one that provides the speed I paid $800 dollars for.

This was why even Microsoft ships a new Xbox with a Controller, even though you can use your old controller with it.

If I send you an address can you ship some extras, mine seem to die or you get ones that are only 4inches long with something. Throw in that now many devices only have USB C on both ends so your last phone that sold with a USB A to USB C cord, that no longer plugs into new devices, I am always at a shortage.

How would you really fix that though, if China builds manufacturing plants in Mexico, and then car dealers purchase their cars from there, placing higher tariffs on Mexico doesn’t fix the issue, it just jacks up the cost of groceries, assuming the tariffs apply to all products and not just per company.

Is the idea to track the majority owners of every company and then tariff trade by company rather than where they are manufactured? What is the difference at the end of the day between a company moving manufacturing to Mexico to make the cars to avoid paying tariffs and a company making manufacturering plants for computers/phones in say China/India to get cheaper labor, and then sell the units back in the U.S.

We need a thorough revision of what the goals are and force the practices on all U.S. companies as well to make it ever workable long term.
