There’s literally no alternative to them. The mainstream parties ignore the problems and pretend they don’t exist, they don’t provide alternate, more sane solutions. These protests can continue until the next election day, AFD will still maintain its influence if nothing changes.
Doesn’t mean anything because all these protests are in the big cities in West Germany, AFD’s base is in East Germany and the less Urbanized areas. As long as the main parties keep ignoring the issues with immigration, AFD is going to continue to surge.
