All of the rights on the Bill of Rights are good and we should support them all. Case in point ^^

The 2nd Amendment will likely be in place long after all of us are dead, because it is a right that the majority of Americans support, and because amending the Constitution is required to change it, and because amending the Constitution is very difficult.
Constitutional amendments require a 2/3 majority vote of both houses of Congress to pass (initially) then must also pass ratification by 3/4 of state legislatures. Only takes 13 red states to vote NO to block it. All of the red states are going to vote against it, every time, because the right to bear arms is an inherent right that we will never give up.
They finally invented the face-storage device seen in the John Woo masterpiece Face/Off
Degoogle and you might not have to worry so much about battery life. I almost never have to charge mine overnight, just once every couple days when it gets low.
Capitalism also solves the phone jack problem, with the retail availability of USB-C to 3.5mm stereo adapters. Here’s a Pixel OEM one for $8 on ebay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/276001290580
I never got rid of my wired headphones, all I had to do was plug their jack into the USB-C dongle and plug that into the phone.
I also have bluetooth earbuds but they don’t sound as good as my wired ones, and I also use them less because of 3 other minor hassles: battery charging, my wife steals them, and my wife loses them. Wired ones have none of those issues.
Have you read the source code for the programming for those chips? Do you know exactly how they work?
Voice recognition is highly subjective, and some of you actually trust billionaire’s companies enough to take their word that their devices will only listen for certain special words? Ridiculous.
No politics in this post, only business
It doesn’t work that way when they already all have guns. If you wanted to do it your way, you’d have needed to start on that gun control about 100 years ago.
Because the cops are not going to take the fascists’ guns, even if they were outlawed. They are vastly outnumbered by armed citizens, and they are scared of them, and many of the cops are the same fascists too.
“I’d never pooped a log so big before and didn’t realize it was possible”
I’m in the USA and I get 3 weeks paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, and 2 “personal days” which are also PTO, and more sick time than I am ever able to use up. I think I have over 200 hours of sick leave PTO accrued.
This is not a basic entry-level job though, it’s after climbing the career ladder for years. It would be much nicer for our country’s folks if everyone was allowed as much PTO by all jobs.
No it was quite a lot more than “a marketing guy” - there were pages and pages of details about their Active Listening program on their website, investor presentations etc. They went far into detail about how much they could listen to and what they could do with all that audio data.
Here’s the Internet Archive link:

That’s a BS reason. I have 2 members of the Baby Boomer generation in my Signal contacts, they use it all the time with no problems. It’s no harder than iMessage to use. They would like it better when they see that Signal doesn’t gimp the image quality between Android and iOS phones unlike iMessage
The problem with closed source apps is you don’t know what else is going on in the background and what else it might have installed or connected to, unless you have debug logs for everything it did and know how to interpret all of that. I wouldn’t install any app from the facebook company on any device I use
Just another reason not to watch them. I don’t want to watch any videos of talking heads. There’s no reason that I need to watch a video of someone’s face talking about anything.
It’s only a minor hassle, lots of people manage it easily
Making any excuse to not learn how analog clocks work is what’s really a weak assertion. It’s not that fucking hard.
Sounds like more of a problem with your government than GrapheneOS.
Sounds like you just didn’t understand. Each hour of the 12 on the clock takes up 30° of the circle, and we measure time in cycles of hours, minutes, seconds that all match up well with the 360° of a circle.
It helps give people a geometrical understanding of the cyclic nature of time.
I think the bomb threats in Ohio after the dumbass pet eating lies were spread is a preview.
Trumptards already saw their insurrection didn’t work and that prison is the consequence. Trump admitted that he lost the 2020 election and many of those cultists are mad about it. So I don’t think we will have a repeat of the Capitol attack, instead we may have some assorted terrorist threats and attacks. Hopefully if that does happen, it will further drive them into obscurity because normal people tend to not like terrorism.
