I used to tutor college chemistry and calculus. I secretly sucked at both, but I knew what questions to ask students to start them thinking. They got excited to discover the answers while explaining it to me.

I don’t know how your military works, but in the US military, most people aren’t trained to kill. The majority are trained to sling wrenches, manage accounts, monitor software programs, prepare meals, and conduct necessary supply and maintenance duties.

Despite the fact that they aren’t out killing people, many still experience profound trauma that permanently alters the course of their lives. The suicide rate for veterans is staggering; additionally, tens of thousands of vets slow-suicide, which often results in periods of alienation and homelessness. This “resolution” is about the vets who don’t have the decency to crawl into a dark corner and die quickly.

Out of 245 million eligible US voters:

75 million voted for Harris.

77 million voted for the con.

93 million couldn’t be bothered, or had their feelings manipulated by the sudden flurry of accusations that Harris must be a Zionist because that wasn’t ingenious propaganda.

I’m still more angry at the 93 million slugs than I am about the bigots, and that’s got nothing to do with fucking blowback.

So if someone had snagged a photo of one of the murderers who lives in Texas, would they be banned for posting it?

Hakeem Jeffries is up for reelection this November. Currently, he has only one June 23 primary challenger, Vance Bostic. This honestly looks like Jeffries will win in a landslide.

Schumer will continue to mutter his goddam inanities for years, as he isn’t up for reelection until November 2028.

I worked remote tech for about ten years, and rotated through several managers. The incompetent ones were easy to spot because they “led” by squatting on bossware like toads.

While many people were able to connect those dots in 2001, my progressive ass was in the majority of uninformed US folk. I have to admit I didn’t see through the bullshit back then. News was corporate mainstream; there was no social media to contradict what we were being fed.
