Yeah, that’s the number I came to also. At that point, you don’t have to work anymore and can mostly just live very comfortably off of the interest. There’s no way you’d catch me still working if I had that much saved.

Yeah I saw that the governor is pushing that one. The governor seems to be grasping at anything that implicates him as a lefty though, while publicly saying that he would say the opposite if it were true. Just the fact that he’s disseminating information like that before anything is verified, to me, means that he’s trying to prove his narrative and not looking for answers. Also, the guy having a trans roommate and possible relationship with them could be damning of him being a righty too.

Using the argument that he was talking to people and encouraging conversation is bullshit; he was peddling his agenda and that’s it. Was there ever an instance that anyone who he was debating brought up a point that made him change his beliefs in any way? If not, then he was just barking the opinions he was paid to propagate at people and not encouraging an open conversation with them. I’m sure there were plenty of people who proved him wrong over the years and that footage just never found its way to his propaganda network.

The guy who lies about everything needs to stop being quoted like an authority on anything, especially here where he’s done everything to distance himself from this story and his former bestie.

I agree that the vast majority of people will not be able to distinguish one from another, but the company is the biggest streaming service and they’re behind their competitors in this aspect. They also have been promising this for years and not delivering.

True. I don’t think I’d want to live in Russia, Afghanistan, North Korea or Hungary because of the shape of their governments, but it’s definitely a short list.

Yup, he realized there was a problem, got someone smarter than him to fix it and listened to his advice (for the most part); he didn’t just rule by his gut, attack intellectuals and pretend that there’s no problem like Trump does.

You’re not alone, I’ve disliked him for over twenty years and have been saying the same since he entered politics. Unfortunately, 1/3 of our country refuses to have the slightest bit of introspection on the matter and there is probably another 1/3 that’s too uninformed/misinformed to care. He’s managed to gain power at the absolute worst time for a moron like him to have power and our checks and balances that are supposed to prevent what he’s doing we’re all based on there being decent people in power to stop him.

We’ve moved from living in an onion article to living in a full blown south park episode.

If it does happen, it’s only going to be for the absolute worst people in the world…fortunately, they still won’t be immune to guillotines.

I remember when I was in college in the early 2000s, I read that he used to do this to contractors and I’ve hated him ever since too.
