It’s not 51% of the coins, it’s 51% of the computing power on the network. Both of which are virtually impossible in the case of Bitcoin, though not entirely impossible. I just wouldn’t consider a 51% attack even remotely a threat to the network compared to something like government crackdown

33·9 days agoWhen will people realize that republicans do not support the first (edit: SECOND, lmao, but yeah first too) amendment? They support use of force to further their agenda. That’s it. Making gun ownership out to be a right wing thing is such a gigantic fuckup.
Just cause you only liked something when you were young doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Everyone talks about the perspective you gain as an adult, but people don’t talk enough about the perspective you lose along the way.
