2·1 hour agoI’ve listened to him quite a lot in ~2010, then learned about his YouTube channel when it started popping off, but only recently made the connection that it’s the same person.
I went to look at his Wiki page now, and apparently he also released music as Acidwolf, Human Action Network, and FlexE. TIL as well!

2·2 hours agoI loved (well, still love) the more melancholic ones, Moominvalley in November and Moominland Midwinter are probably my favorite ones. I’ve also recently finished the 90s Moomin anime, it did wonders for my post-work tired brain

2·2 hours agoLoved the demo for Titanium Court, but I have so many games in rotation right now that I decided that it’ll have to wait its turn :(

3·8 hours agoso far I like the winter vibe much more, though they are pretty equal gameplay-wise (as there’s not much of it)

3·1 day agoNo legal issues afaik. The biggest issue was Bethesda dropping a huge update on Fallout 4 right before release that broke all the mods
It’s still available, there’s even an easy to install version on GOG: https://www.gog.com/en/game/fallout_london

3·1 day agoI do believe in Skyblivion coming out in a reasonable time frame a bit more than this one.
And we also have an example of Fallout London, which is arguably more ambitious
Still Wakes the Deep puts you on an oil rig amid the ocean in a storm. You spend most of your time indoors though, but there are sections where you get to see the roaring ocean
The Witcher 1. It’s been a while since I’ve replayed it, but I know it like the back of my hand. Just thinking about the first chapter - gathering some White Myrtle accompanied by that lovely soundtrack - calms me down.

2·6 days agosame!
because by that logic steam controller 1 and steam controller 2 are also completely different devices and your past experience is inapplicable.
or we can accept that it was valve’s first foray into making hardware and they probably learned a thing or two in the last 10 years on how to make something that doesn’t fall apart. don’t quite understand how you can overlook what I’m saying

1·6 days agonot completely. the deck had a lot of time to get trackpads and steam input right. and build quality is great on the deck, it’s a much more complex piece of hardware and it didn’t have too many issues for first revisions

It was bound to happen, since they started testing it more than a year ago. While I really hate this decision, I hate the linked blog more. It’s populist SEO slop that exists to advertise “that privacy guy”'s consultancy services. Measuring environment impact of the downloads, that’s your chosen angle here? Bleh.
i really like trackpads and custom bindings for older games on Deck and I wanna have the same on my TV, so I can sit next to my gf and not alone by my desk

3·6 days agoyeah, but that was their first experience with hardware like this. there have been 2 steam decks since then.

I’ve answered to a sibling comment, but I’ll duplicate here. Hydra is not read-only and works really well on iOS.
