World News@lemmy.world•Thousands of European flights reportedly affected by suspected Russian jammingEnglish
32·2 years agoI’m gonna copypaste what I said in another reply to my comment (because I think it applies):
Not being in support of Ukraine is not the same as being in support of Vlad. Not at all. The only ones that MIGHT be pro Vlad, and I am not 100% sure of their position, are Vox.
There are a million reasons not to meddlr in these external affairs. Veing anti-war, our country not being precisely well economically, recognizing Ukraine is neither on NATO nor the EU, so interfering is riskier.
Global morals are all good and well, but the representatives should look for the well being of their voters, not everyone in the Globe.
Not saying they should say “fuck Ukraine”, we have received a lot of Ukrainian refugees in Spain. But that doesn’t mean we should get involved in their war.

13·2 years agoYeah, for real, “Someone will 100%, do you want it to be your friends/family/people you know or some absolute random stranger?” Some lemmitors would surely answer “My people, for sure”

I pretty much dislike that DDG is not opensource while preaching about privacy and stuff. But tbh no idea what Kagi is.
A feeling of moral supperiority that lemmitors crave

Technology@lemmy.world•Elon Musk's X pushed a fake headline about Iran attacking Israel. X's AI chatbot Grok made it up.English
18·2 years agoOk, you just downvote and say no, but no explanation given. In my gov several cases of corruption arised during the last couple of years, and way more in the past. They affect high ranking ministers, and yet the oresident does not resign. Same with companies, they get paid the most, do the least, claim it is vecause they have “lots of responsabilities” but still never pay the price

125·2 years agoNah, it’s a bit like government. Its only his responsability if it is no one elses responsability. Like, they can have the most corrupt gabinets, most presidents do not resign/abdicate, whatever the word is.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Critics must rescore Dragon's Dogma 2 in light of microtransactions
2·2 years agoSure, that’s definitely a shit move. And it is not requiered, just pointing out that not removing fast travel in a game (especially if you are familiar with the game, and it has fast travel by default) makes you see that game in another light. Sometimes it is a shit experience, sometimes a great experience, but aleays a journey.
Definitely recommend it!

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Critics must rescore Dragon's Dogma 2 in light of microtransactions
21·2 years agoA lot of people, myself included, do so in Skyrim. It is a completely different experience and way more immersive indeed.
Gender not important also, loads of women “mansplain”, it’s a problem with attitude, not gender or race
Yeah, but if I was a time traveller and knew about the party, I would probably also know it was a trap, right? Why would I walk into the trap?

2·2 years agoSure, sure, was not desagreeing, technically you are using ChatGPT. Just pointing out that the model itself handling the image creation is not chatgpt

Thing is, a lot of English expressions come from Shakespeare’s works, the memes of the time. Like, a lot. So communication back then was also references to other things. Now, I agree the scale is different, and now it’s a massime phenomenon with internet and such.
