I think they mean that it would be difficult for the government to prove you own(ed) crypto if you purchase it from places other than from an exchange that collects your information (cash for bitcoin, etc.)

imo, we have to fight on all fronts. While some may argue that it’s a waste of time, I believe the work for short term reform is still important. Even if the long-term goal is something more. While I hold a more revolutionary ideology, I’ve comrades who are doing what they can in the existing system.
