Played it on Sega Mega Drive back in the day. There was also a dope game called Skitchin’ that was like Road Rash almost, but on roller blades…

Porn fakes are old news, yes - but what the post you replied to is talking about is “deep learning” (remember that, before the great deluge of “AI”?) fakes, which to some extent either uses generative networks to swap out or alter the face/body, or straight up generate simulacra graphics/video, as opposed to a human doing for the most part comparatively bad hack jobs with multiple sources as in the past.
It seems like it’ll actually be radically different, and there’s no way it’s coming out until like at least 2026.
As far as I know, a ton of stuff in the game is based on Spanish folklore etc as well.

Fantastic metroidvania meets soulslike game. The art style, the lore, the atmosphere, and by God - the music!
The combat is not super great, but it’s capable enough for a metroidvania.
I haven’t played the second one, I hear it’s kinda hit and miss.
Definitely seems like a global trend.
