They banned me for giving my opinion on how child molesters should be punished and then permabanned me for doing it again when I got back. Funny thing is people say the exact same kind of shit about all kinds of other people and those comments are fine… weird how they only care to protect people who molest children.

I had that conversation hundreds of times when I was doing desktop support…

I used to work at a auto shop and one time a lady came in wanting an estimate to replace the majority of the exhaust on her car. We didn’t do exhaust work so the only way for me to price that out for her was to go based off the purchase of all the components from the parts shop which would have been way more expensive than a shop that actually does exhaust work. I told her as such and then she insisted that I price it out anyway which took forever because I had to find a diagram of her cars exhaust and cross reference all the parts with the parts shop website and then the entire time she’s bitching at me about how long this is taking. I continued to explain that going to an exhaust shop would be cheaper and she continued to insist. When I handed her the estimate she glanced at it, laughed in my face, and stormed out. That shit happened almost 2 decades ago and it still pops into my head frequently.

I accidentally switched to it and it dropped all my non-MS mailboxes. Then when I immediately switched back it had the gall to ask me why.

Reminds me of my last job where I had to build a ridiculously complex excel spreadsheet that I copied a bunch of reports into to do scheduling because someone decided I didn’t need access to the actual data…

Agreed. They switched us to teams for our softphone and the caller ID doesn’t even show me the number that called half the time. I just get a generic location which is worthless to me.

Pretty spot on from my perspective. I did vote but it was more because there we’re two proposals on the ballot that I did care about. If not for those I would have probably skipped voting. I’m just exhausted at this point because my life has continued to worsen as long as I’ve been an adult and everyone’s fixated on LGBT and other shit that doesn’t even affect me or most of the other people that feel the need to have an opinion on it. We can just let people live their lives… What about housing, healthcare, wages, and all the other basic quality of life shit that helps everyone?

On top of that my vote for president didn’t matter anyway because the district I’m in would always go red and for most of the local positions there aren’t even democrat or even 3rd party options.
