5 months agoWe were just talking about this (at work). I never considered my parents racist, but I definitely heard Brazil nuts called that, it’s uncomfortable to think about how pervasive systemic racism is.

4·6 months agoI’m telling you the TV is faster and higher quality than the Xbox
This has not been my experience at all with my Smart TV and Xbox. I routinely use the Xbox for simple things like YouTube because the apps are noticeably slower to respond than the TV.
No you don’t understand, America = bad. If someone is doing something wrong it must be Americas fault or I must find some way to shoehorn politics into every conversation.
Dumb people exist in all countries unfortunately.
My LinkedIn has a real picture and it’s linked on my resume, but I’d never put my picture ON the actual resume. That just seems like a bad idea all around.

The U.S. is certainly resource-rich though, just lacks the political will/balls to take on corporations.

I’ve shucked probably 100s of those WD essentials and they just had a little SATA -> USB adapter on it. It’s been a few years but it doesn’t seem like they’d make a whole new PCB just to include USB.
