I feel like that goes against their whole message with Steam hardware though. The Steam Machine is advertised as a plug-and-play console alternative that needs zero effort on the user’s part, if they sell versions of it without components it would quickly start gaining notoriety for being for tinkerer’s and linux nerds instead of the average person.

Well… They did try to make Terraria Otherworld, but that game got cancelled and they fell back into supporting Terraria because it keeps printing money.

Oh nice. FF3 amd FF4 are the weird 3D remakes though, not the original ones. I remember playing one of these on mobile long ago, I wasn’t aware a PC version even existed.

Isn’t most of that from consoles and mobile?

Because Steam is the world’s biggest games store on PC while Epic is statistically insignificant. What’s the question?

Oof. I remember my friend hyping it up when the Kickstarter launched in 2017… I’m aching for a new MMORPG but it’s so unfortunate all the new ones either come out half-baked or flop completely.
I hate to break it to you but… It’s been over 20 years. It’s more retro now than the SNES was when the 360 came out.

Combat is fun and similar to Hades but not quite as deep. That said the community management aspect is a big part of the game so if you’re not into that you might struggle, there’s a lot of deciding what to build / talking to your cult.

Let’s not forget possibly the most iconic one, Dracula from Symphony of the Night

Seconding A Hat in Time. It’s probably the closest platformer to Mario Odyssey that isn’t Mario. The last DLC (Nyakuza Metro) is especially worth your time.
Praying that one day GOG can strike a deal with console owners to bring old abandoned game to PC. I know decompiles exist but you basically need to pirate the games to play them which is very inaccessible.

Weird choice considering its competitors (Overwatch/Marvel Rivals) both have Linux support.

Good call on removing it. Playing as Ashley sounds cool on paper but the missions where you played as her were pretty boring. So much running and waiting for the enemy to slowly walk away for 30 seconds. Resident Evil isn’t known for its stealth missions.

Fantastic timing, I just started playing a few days ago and am having a blast!

For what it’s worth most people are more mad that E33 won best indie and best debut indie. It’s not an indie game, many people have said as much and it’s completely unfair that they won in categories meant for small budget games by small teams.
Totally deserved in other categories, but that does leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I wonder what that will do for the sale of the Steam Machine which should (theoretically) get people into PC gaming for much cheaper.
Valve said they won’t subsidise the cost of the Steam Machine, it will be roughly the same price as a regular PC.

Not at all what I expected from the Rogue Legacy devs. It looks like Into the Breach but with a fantasy/DnD style. Keeping my eye on this one.
Does it? Let’s be honest, the biggest reason the movie succeeded was because Markiplier made it, one of the most popular gaming influencers. If it were a movie made by random people the internet doesn’t know, it probably wouldn’t have done too well. It’s like saying the FNAF movie proves people want more 5/10 horror movies.
I’m glad it worked out for him and I do want to see more indie movies, but this isn’t indicative of much.
