Most chocolate “making” just starts with chocolate callets. Melt them, temper it, put it in moulds, and add filling. I’ve done this, and it’s not that difficult. Of course, the quality here depends on the quality of the callets, so if you start with Hershey’s (not sure if they even make callets), it’ll still taste like vomit.
Look, AI is dumb, and probably not a good thing to integrate into a browser. But if it turns out to be an important thing in the future, then not integrating it right now would be worse than having it.
There’s a measurable fixed cost to adding AI features. There’s room for potentially infinite losses (i.e. entire loss of market share) if they don’t have AI features and need them. The calculus on this decision is pretty lopsided towards integrating AI, even if everyone thinks it’s likely to be unnecessary.

If violent dictators can’t trust that you’re making a deal for peaceful resolution in good faith, then a lot of people are going to die to achieve that transition. If the only way out is death, they’re going to take as many people with them as possible. Is that worth it, just to kill one rich guy?
Peaceful transitions of power always involve compromises. Here, they agreed to spare his life in exchange for the future lives of countless citizens. If they didn’t want to agree to those conditions, they shouldn’t have made the deal. It just makes it harder for this situation to play out peacefully in the future.

I believe that Trump may not have won without him. He weaponized twitter to push misinformation against the Dems and in favour of Trump. I don’t know if the result of that can be quantified in such a way that we’d know for sure whether it changed the outcome, but it certainly had an impact.

Yes, that’s technically better than nothing. And I agree the CEO doesn’t deserve a bonus if their company is failing. But focusing on this is missing the bigger picture of the lack of workers’ rights in America, and paints a target on the wrong people (CEOs instead of the government).
The system is designed in such a way that the residents get to make that decision. If they want to choose a non resident to represent them, they are allowed to do that.
In theory, an informed population should vote against this behaviour, but this particular riding will vote conservative until it kills them (which it’s likely to do).
Also, don’t concentrate people in a single place. It’s wrong to have a 4% population growth in Toronto and 0.5% elsewhere.

Since I wasn’t clear at all in my first comment: I’m referring to the fact that people can also get away with murder, as long as they’re driving a car at the time. Very rarely is it much more than a slap on the wrist, but it’s always significantly less than any other form of negligent homicide.

Everyone knows the truth. The relevant authorities have the unredacted copies and are straight up refusing to do anything. The administration and all agencies are doing blatantly illegal things every day, and no one is willing to arrest or stop them.
The victims (of all of this administration’s crimes, not just the Epstein victims) deserve justice, but I think, at least in America, justice isn’t coming from the legal system. It might come when player 2 joins the game.
