50·6 months agoI hate to be an I-Told-You-So type of guy, but surely you look at how they handle their tablets and knew it was why these things are so cheap. Honestly the best smart display I’ve seen so far outside of the DIY ones is the Pixel Tablet and that was underpowered as a tablet. It’s funny though, because smart displays will become ubiquitous eventually not just because they’re useful, but because they’re prime real estate; look at the Samsung fridges. I’m guessing more people will have to install a Pi-Hole just to make them bearable.
