  • On machines that were actually strong enough to run it, it was mostly fine. I played on PC and while I admit the later balancing update was probably necessary, I didn’t run into most of the real nasty bugs people liked to talk about. I had a great time putting in 100 or so hours in version 1.

A solid 80% or more of all the problems Cyberpunk had at launch stemmed from trying to launch it on last-gen consoles. It absolutely was not intended for PS4 or XB1 and targeting those platforms was a mistake. Once they pulled availability for those and buckled down on getting it prettied up for next gen, the quality jumped by a mile within the next year and a half of updates.

The launch was rough, I grant you that, and maybe I’m just simping for CDPR but even at the time I was in the vocal minority saying, hey this game really isn’t that bad if you give it a chance and run it on hardware that it was intended for.

And of course now with its updates and DLC it’s just genuinely a great game.

  • Yeah I don’t believe that for a fucking second to be honest with you, and I’m finding it difficult to not go insane with conspiracy theories about MAGA fucking with the vote counts, and becoming the same person I made fun of surrounding Jan 6 - except he has a proven record of being a cheat and all but outright stated his intent to cheat the election. I’m kind of dumbfounded that 3 hours after voting night closes the major news outlets are all reporting a Trump win which they couldn’t possibly know yet, everyone takes this as fact and refuses to investigate any further. Official vote tally and certification isn’t even until mid December by the usual schedule according to .gov sources.

Is it not just a little bit ridiculous to anyone else that in one of the most relentlessly politicized elections of the past century 15+ million people who voted last time suddenly didn’t? 15 million people predominantly of the denominations that Trump and his goons particularly hate and wanted to silence? For that matter does anyone else find it strange that 45% of Latinos voted to deport themselves? I mean, some percentage I could expect, even up to like 20, I’d be disappointed but I’d understand, but 45%??

I am most certainly on some amount of copium here but I am incredibly surprised at the lack of any sort of investigation or push back or god damn anything surrounding what should certainly be contested results, at the very least. This feels very very fishy to me.

How is it that you, me, everybody, everybody’s cousin, and also the FBI were all fully aware that Trump & Co were guaranteed going to try and cheat the election, and yet the first moment all the republican electors come out and say “Yep Trump wins!! We promise!!” everyone is just accepting this as fact?

I have severe doubts about the validity of these numbers for at least the next several weeks. Republicans have proven repeatedly that they are not going to play fair in any fashion. I don’t believe a damn thing they tell me without receipts for it and we’ve got until January to produce the receipts.

  • As an NC resident I was incredulous at the turnaround that happened after that all came out. I thought for sure he was going to end up being a shoo-in for victory. I can’t walk ten feet without seeing Trump shit everywhere, and I live in the middle of a city. These folks should have loved Robinson even more than they love supply-side Jesus.
