What faux-profundity is on display here? Sometimes people just talk. Sometimes this includes observations. Kinda like what you did with your comment. I don’t understand why you’re bringing hate to a tea chat, but I suppose it can be good to get off your chest.
As a PM who tries to not waste anyone’s time, thank you. I’ve had pushback before from people who don’t like to do the talking, but I would only call that person forward if it’s going to prevent a ton of headaches all around. Sometimes it’s difficult to explain that. Otherwise I have no problem being the punching bag on stage. It’s my job.
Your clear grasp on the language as a SME goes a long way towards breaking down the silos within our resources. We’ll need to set a strong cadence in order to drive these new workflows from storming to norming. I’ll set a friendly follow-up to make sure your progress doesn’t get yellow-lighted in this week’s board review. I really appreciate your time on this task. Keep up the good work! Best, Robot.
Edit: Looks like I can give everyone 5 minutes of their day back!
Column 2 status would absolutely make sense if we weren’t talking about an administration that slapped tariffs on penguins.
Russia still has billions in trade with the US, far more than any of the other three in column 2 and far more than the vast majority of trade partners assigned tariffs. The tariffs were assigned with a simple trade deficit calculation that Russia was spared. If anything, that this administration is so eager to “get even” that it slaps tariffs on penguins while missing one of its largest trade deficits says more about their lack of attention to detail than anything else.
Doesn’t think switch is groundbreaking. Proceeds to list handheld that wouldn’t exist without the Switch breaking that ground. lol
Google search feels like it has stopped being the magic it was. Now whenever I search for something I might not find it underneath all the stuff on sale. For the first time in I don’t know how many years I’ve been finding myself using something else like Duck Duck Go.
Trump followed a consistent, rigid math: Whatever the trade deficit, then that’s the tariff applied… except for Russia. Russia is #23 on our list of trade partners. Following the math they should have a hefty tariff applied, but they don’t. It’s the only exception.
Fun fact: When an animal rolls into a ball to defend itself it is called “conglobation.”
Only two genders: male and political.
The monumental level of troll farming performed by the Russian state suggests they are deserving of few allies.
Rome creates a desert and calls it peace.
As an American, we are all going to suffer and the earlier the better. Time and time again we see that the only way Trump supporters change is if they are personally affected. Thus we all need to pay in order to see change.
That’s the free space
I work out a lot more and eat healthier when I’m WFH. Doesn’t come close.
That’s not what this post assumes. This post is aimed at those using DEI as a dog whistle for their disgusting bigotry. Present all the nuance you want but if you’re missing that then you’re turning a blind eye to the blatant racism gaining power and leverage in the US gov today.
You can tell the argument is empty when all that is needed in retort is “no u”.
It’s the fallacy of “I made all my own success.” I hear this all the time from well-off people who come from well-off families. They very well may have created everything they have, but they are also completely ignorant of the opportunities created for them simply by being raised in a well-off family. There is zero concept of choosing between dental health or eating, car repair or heating, etc.
Your comment gives me the urge to create other maps you can comment on so that I can triangulate your position.
