Even if they traced your CPC complaints, they’re literally so far away from you to even matter while the US is literally next to you and has threatened to annex you ffs 😂 assuming you’re canadian, by your instance
Given the option, I prefer US spying over Chinese spying. Yes, the US, with all its shit, is still better than China since there still is (just a little) more transparent than China.
Having said that, why not neither? Can we please already start having open source hardware?
I think that Snowden (and other leakers) would argue that the US is much much less transparent. Though it is best to just assume that all major govs are spying on everyone (even if it makes an ass out of u and me). Though we can agree on open source hardware.
Snowden? The guy living in Russia because he likes genocidal Putin better?
Yeah I’m sorry, I’m not a fan.
Also, can you guys please stop defending China? I’m not defending the US, it’s a shit show, it’s always been a shit show. Well, at least for the past 5 decades or so. China too, is an absolute shit show and has been that for much, much longer.
For all its many many many MANY faults; in the US at least I can still write “fuck the Cheeto Trump” and be sure I won’t get a visit from state police. I know, trump will make sure that the US becomes more like China soon, but I fucking double dare you to live in China and make a post every day about how xi is winnie Pooh and how tiananmen square was a massacre back in the 90s
Why would I work for free for the Chinese government or any other government? My Arab country gives me free education, healthcare and subsidized eggs and I still don’t support it uncritically. It’s far more logical and reasonable to attribute your fear of China to racism and chauvinism, and is consistent with what I have seen from your culture, media and politics over the years.
In a democracy most people get what they want most of the time. Do you honestly believe that people in the US want to go bankrupt every time they need healthcare?
A democracy is the people voting lol. You also get what you vote for, some people vote against themselves. Nice thing about China is the state knows best and you dont need to vote :)
This discussion started with the question “is it better to have a democracy or a dictatorship spy on you” but sure.
China is a communist country governed by one political party that allows only limited democratic activity.
Interesting quote from your link. I’f they adopt democracy and allow fair elections then it wouldn’t be a problem but maybe that’s too European for your liking
This was never about performance, I hope we get more competitive products.
Also don’t worry about the spyware tracing everything negative you might say about the CPC…
Even if that were true, it’d be better than spyware tracing everything to the US Empire. What’s China going to do to me when I live in the US?
Even if they traced your CPC complaints, they’re literally so far away from you to even matter while the US is literally next to you and has threatened to annex you ffs 😂 assuming you’re canadian, by your instance
Yeah! Only American based companies are allowed to spy on us!

The US has literally threatened to annex Canada and you’re here simping for them 😅

How is the US better?
White, Anglo-Saxon, Christian.
Sure, just makilr up some random nonsense, it’s what you do for the Chinese government as well
Why would I work for free for the Chinese government or any other government? My Arab country gives me free education, healthcare and subsidized eggs and I still don’t support it uncritically. Yeah, not mine, buddy
And I don’t give a shit.aboyt your skin color so you can stop the “racism!!!” right there.
You’re openly defending a dictatorship that -amongst other fun things- commits genocide. I think we can leave it there already, discussion over.
It’s theoretically a democracy, china isnt

Confidently incorrect
People vote in China. Anyways, this is getting off topic. This Chinese GPU should be judged on technical merits, not based on the form of government or whether China adheres to European cultural and political norms. If that’s your only issue with it, then it is an admission that it is a competitive product.

@PanArab
@CybranM
Well, they get what they deserve, not necessarily what they want. Americans need to get better at aligning their wants with their political behavior.
