minus-squaresmeg@feddit.uklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up37·2 个月前The escape velocity of the moon is 2.38km/s (compared to 11.2km/s on Earth) so you’d have to be throwing it pretty hard
minus-squaremkwt@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·2 个月前Even if you went to some asteroids that have low escape velocities, a spacecraft still has all of the mass of a spacecraft–probably a few 1000 kg. So you probably can’t get it going fast enough, even if you can escape yourself by jumping.
minus-squareButteryMonkey@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·2 个月前Have you tried jumping? Sounds like that may be the ticket!
minus-squareCheeseNoodle@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 个月前You could probably gradually get it moving across the surface fast enough to escape though.

minus-squarejballs@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·2 个月前This comment makes me want to play some Kerbal Space Program again, where you can launch yourself into orbit from Minmus (the 2nd moon) with a jump.
minus-squaremarcos@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·2 个月前Nor can you throw a spaceship around on the Moon. So maybe that cartoon isn’t about the Moon.
