Also I don’t know about you but me pulling out an EDC to defend against a team of highly trained and equipped like they are taking a stroll through Baghdad Red Zone circa 2007 seems like unfavorable odds for me. I like living sometimes.
If they were trained they’d probably not be constantly afraid of everything and would be able to hit their targets more often than they hit innocent bystanders.

No one wants to die, everyone needs to make the right decisions for themselves, and for legal reasons I would never advocate for violence.

Don’t need to be well armed. Just smart and patient.
What does that even mean?
Means that any person well trained with any weapon can be effective and dangerous.
