I need all meat to be over-cooked if I want to eat it, because I have intestinal issues and if it’s too raw I can’t digest it as well. Also causes terrible pain and all that. I don’t have enough piping left to suffer from diarrhea the same way anymore, but getting dehydrated and having to empty the stoma bag three times in an hour isn’t much fun either. It also might be a texture issue; raw meat is more slimy and that can be a big no to some people… etc.
The point being, even if you don’t respect personal tastes, there’s always people that will need the meat to be well-done to be able to actually eat it. And most people probably don’t want to openly admit it if they get violent diarrhea from it being slightly raw
Yeah that’s fair. Like the vegan person I responded to earlier, I’m not going to make anyone eat anything they don’t want. Just don’t waste it. And I can’t eat red meat almost at all(but I still do every other week) cause I got gout.
Honestly it’s not like I gorge myself on steaks either, I’m usually eating fish and poultry because those digest better. I’d gladly be vegetarian even, but vegetables and beans sadly digest even worse than red meat does, so that’s off the table. Health issues around food is just generally a subject that’s often forgotten, and that doesn’t benefit a lot of people
