As someone from the UK, what the hell is going on with that price ticket? How many different numbers do you need to tell someone the price?! What a mess.
The 2.19 is the “regular” price in the white box. The number in the orange box is usually the price per unit and/or weight, although sometimes it can be there price for those with government assistance vouchers.
It is common for grocers to put a tag under the regular tag with a promotional sale. In this case, if you buy 10 then you get all 10 for $10.
It’s a circus and I would much rather just have the price for the thing with the tax included. Corpos just like playing mind games.
