It is infinitely quotable. Virtually every scene has some insane one-liner or conversation and it’s awesome. My buddy and I used to watch this movie all the time and I know much of it by heart because of it.
Snatch tried to recreate the magic, and it’s a great movie, but LS&2SB is the better overall, IMO.
“Jesus Christ! You could choke a dozen donkeys on that. And you’re arguin’ over £100? What do you do when you’re not buying stereos, Nick? Finance revolutions?” lol
“Not when the price is 200 and certainly not when you have Liberia’s deficit in your skyrocket!”
Also, fully agree on Lock Stock v Snatch. Snatch is more polished etc but damn, the dialogue LS is so damned good. I feel half the time I go to a Guy Ritchie movie nowadays it’s out of a sense of gratitude for LS more than anything else.
Damn, I’ve had this scene and consequently the movie stuck in my head since your original quote.
A curse and a blessing.
