The tradwives movement, which has recently exploded on TikTok, is composed of young women who espouse the joys of adhering to traditional family values in a patriarchal marriage. The Onion asked women why they decided to become tradwives, and this is what they said.

So its no different to every other culture, ideology, fad or lifestyle choice.
In this age? Yeah, basically. Like I said, indulge if it’s your thing, the problem starts when you start forcing others.
That was my point too, the lifestyle sounds great. If you want to hang a bunch of ideological bullshit on it too then thats on you.
