Palestine defenders on Thursday condemned Israeli forces’ raidb of the latest Global Sumud Flotilla—which was sailing off the Greek coast while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza—and the arrest of more than 200 of its participants, with some prominent critics calling the seizure an act of piracy.

Greenpeace International—whose MY Arctic Sunrise is the flotilla’s most prominent ship—said that the maritime convoy’s 58 vessels were “boarded and harassed by Israeli forces in international waters 45 nautical miles west of the Greek island Kythira and 600 nautical miles from Gaza.”

I’ve said this before. As Norman Finkelstein has said, Israel is a lost society. They support government actions in Gaza to the tune of 70/80%. The whole country needs to be torn apart and given back to the Arab population that lived there. Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Arabs who are indigenous need to have sovereignty of their land. European Jews like myself are a cancerous influence on the Middle East and serve no purpose other than to cause trouble.

No. For a long time he would say that a one state solution isn’t possible. That’s different from whether he wants one. I don’t know where he stands these days but his diagnosis of Israeli society, his assessment of the government, and advocacy for Palestinians against a terrorist government is spot on.

Since when East jerusalem and west bank is Israel? People in Israel can all vote and they are voting for pro colonization candidates. Aparteith is not defined by unability to vote but by the intent to dominate, systematic oppression and inhumne acts

Since when East jerusalem and west bank is Israel?

10% of the population of Israel lives in West Bank: they are considered full Israeli residents and are subject solely to Israeli law. Palestinians in West Bank are also subject to Israeli rule and law, but they aren’t citizens because Israel is an apartheid country

Since when is any part of Palestine Israel? The point here is the “democracy” only officially colonizing a part of Palestine for their passport segregation while unofficially colonizing the rest.

I didn’t talk about democracy. I talked about elections in Israel and how arabs are allowed to vote because it is a minority that won’t change Israel’s colonial genocidal policies. If arab outpace jews in Israel, I predict their ethenic cleansing The west bank and east jerusalem is not Israel

Palestinians (not Arabs) have intentionally been segregated from Israeli elections with Israeli leaders publicly admitting that it is only to keep the sham democracy going.

The west bank and east jerusalem is not Israel

Tell that to Israel, who treat Jews living in Westbank as Israeli residents, and allow their citizens free movement into westbank with the Palestinians getting zero say. Oh, and subjecting the Palestinians to Israeli law. Literally just passed a law mandating the death penalty but solely for West Bank Palestinians.

Curious. Are they as divided as we are in the West on domestic and international issues?

I know of a certain man with a funny mustache from Deutschland who would get a hearty chuckle out of this genocidal business, given who is committing it.

On domestic issues that don’t involve the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, yes, there are bitter divisions. On ethnically cleansing Palestinians, no, they are virtually unanimous. On waging constant war and stealing land, again, no division, virtually unanimous.
