- if they can promise a not shit ui and more efficiency with large message operations im all for it. Those have been my complaints about thunderbird in the last year or two 
- Given the recent increase in momentum for Thunderbird development I was somewhat sceptical of it’s value, but that feature comparison hits a bunch of my Thunderbird bugbears. - I might migrate for a tray icon alone. 
- What more features does an email client need? It seems like a simple task that should be fully fleshed out by now. - Hide to tray has been requested by users for 20 years. It even has been promised multiple times. 
 
- Whenever I get nostalgic for a 1990s email client I install thunderbird - (Neo)mutt exists
