I can root my s23 ultra (from what I’ve read at least), however I choose not to because it would permanently break Knox and there would be no way of undoing that outside of replacing the logic board.

Are you from the US or the EU/elsewhere? I ask because the reason My S21 can’t be rooted is because it the US/Hong Kong Models use Snapdragon CPUs. I don’t know if the same applies to the successors.
