    Thank you for adding that context. All children in the state’s custody are automatically enrolled in an approved for Medicaid in the state of Hawaii, which covers up to 10 days before the application was submitted or up to 3 months before the application for those requesting long term care.

    So the movie is 100% accurate with the information you’ve provided.

      You see where thats the problem right? Why should kids be in the states custody? Wouldn’t it be nice for them to just… get it?

      And don’t say we can’t. Plenty of other countries do it just fine.

        We’re discussing whether or not the scene in Lilo and Stitch live action is realistic. If people had listened to me and voted for Harris then they wouldn’t be actively gutting what little medical coverage we have as we speak. If enough people voted blue we would have universal healthcare over a decade ago.
